Finish tea process of manufacture
01. Tea leaf farmers pick fresh leaves, and make processed green teas known as Aracha.
02. This Aracha has yet to be finished at this stage, and Yanoen selects only high quality leaves to meet customers’ demands.
03. Leaves at this stage contain all different parts of plant, and will go through drying processes to give a longer shelf life and better flavor.
Each crude tea will be graded, and packed for sale.
04. Based on the demands in market, blend tea leaves, and put them into a tank.
05. Tea leaves are stored in a tank for a while.
06. Filter Aracha based on size, and cut them into the same size.
Also, separate them into different groups based on the part of plant.
07. Filter leaves based on the color, and separate them into different groups.
Camera in the machine detects the color, and uses wind to separate leaves.
08. Drying: Tea leaves are rolling in a dryer machine
09. Tea leaves are proceeded in heated rolling drums. This process is very important to give tea leaves good flavor.
10. Filter tea leaves again to separate into different size/color.
11. Blend tea leaves for each product.
12. Blend tea leaves for each product.
Most tea factories do drying process first without filtering, but Yanoen does filtering process before and after drying process.
By adjusting drying process for each different group of tea leaves, Yanoen can achieve the best flavor.
I create better products afterwards by working on along each finish tea (this the bone, a bone, the powder, powder, this tea, tea) and the finish that I looked at.

Tea taster will make decisions based on color, fragrance and flavor of leaves only and with hot water.
